Amazing Grace

I love Grace, I love it's message, I love it's power, I love everything about it. It seems to me(humble opinion) that as wonderful and Holy as grace is it can be taken out of bounds.

- What should we say then should we go on sinning that Grace would abound more....Absolutely not.

I was thinking about Grace and the gift of Christ this morning, I like to give myself definitions for things to try and reference the real meaning quickly in my own mind.

This is what I was thinking:

Grace does not except your behavior, it excepts you. It puts you in a place where your behavior can be transformed because you are being transformed.

²³for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, ²⁴and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Romans 3:23-24

Fully capable yet withholding

Have you ever thought about what God has the potential to do but He chooses not to because of his great love for us......I wrote some down in my journal.

You are in complete control

    Yet you allow us to choose

You are inconceivable

    Yet you reveal yourself

You are Lord over all

    Yet you don't Lord over us

You are all consuming

    Yet you beckon to be pursued

You are broken by our sin

    Yet you do not destroy

You are just and holy

    Yet Grace and forgiveness flow

What an amazing God!
