The Beauty of Worship pt. 2

 

"A biblical approach to worship shows that worship is defiantly NOT a God ordained device to compel man to stroke a heavenly ego. The scripture constantly show God calling His people to worship in His presence so that He might release, redeem, renew, and restore them."

 

I find it mesmerizing to think that a God of infinite ability would chose to take a moment and place His finger on my heart in an attempt to woo closer in relationship with Him. His sole purpose not being a hole He needs filled with some quota of humans he has won over into His remnant of faithful followers, but His purpose is to restore us to the person that we were intended to always be.

 

To be released, redeemed, renewed, and restored into the relationship that God originally designed me for....that is the beauty of worship
