I was reading my John Maxwell Leadership bible and ran across these questions. They sparked a great idea.
So many times the rough edges that keep us hesitating on wether or not someone can be put into leadership are the qualities that will push them to the top as they are mentored by the Holy Spirit and you the leader God has put into their life.
- What qualities exist that may be seen as negative behavior?
- Do the individuals show initiative, even if it has been misdirected?
- Would those people add positive chemistry and unique value if placed on the team?
- Are they hungry to become something more than what they are now?
- Do they demonstrate passion that could be redirected?
- Could they play a needed role on the team?
Think of it this way the pool you have for potential leaders just got a whole lot bigger.
Very insightful. You are a plethera of amazing talent and information.
