I recently read the book...Worship His Majesty by Jack Hayford. There are some great insights, I'm going to share those in the next few posts.
"Worship is an opportunity for man to invite God's power and presence to move among those worshiping Him."
I have been leading worship for every weekend for the last 5 years and I can't remember a time when I sensed the presence of God moving in a special way that did not completely blow my mind.
I love the fact that we serve a God that is all powerful, all consuming, bigger than our minds could even began to understand and yet when we invite Him He responds. not only does He respond, it's never with reflectance. He responds with excitement. it's seems the thing that brings Him the greatest joy is when we who are so unworthy in our own right recognize our need for Him, call on His name and stand before Him in complete surrender to His love and purpose for our lives.
Does it get any better than that?
